Inventory in Action | Willow

Miss Willow traveled to Stetson Mansion not too long ago to model in a styled shoot, and my, oh my doesn’t she look amazing all dolled up!? Julia’s Floral Design provided the fresh floral arrangement along with two floral trees to create a romantic sweetheart table space, along with that luscious bridal bouquet below.

Table of the Month | Transitioning into Fall

It’s time to continue on our ‘Table of the Month’ series. Hooray! September is sort of an odd month…it officially becomes Fall, but it’s still hot as can be here in Florida. Since it’s somewhat of a “transition” month, we wanted that to translate into our table designs. By incorporating a rich color, such as marsala, with a light blush hue, we were able to do just that! Flowers by Lesley made our almost-Fall dreams come true!

RW Events | Table of the Month | Marsala + Blush

For our very first look, we combined hues of marsala and blush with gold touches. We used a lovely Blush Lamour linen from Over The Top, along with the Bordeaux Lamour napkins from GBS Linens. At each place setting, we featured Gold Rim glass chargers with darling gold flatware from Orlando Wedding & Party Rentals. Also at each place setting are dinner plates from the Luxmore Grande Estate. We just love how the deep red napkins pop on top of the china and blush linen. Now for the best part… the flowers! Lesley started off by arranging the pretty blooms in a circle, with clear glass candle votives of varying heights in the center. *swoon!* To finish the look, we added Gold Chiavari chairs to tie in the gold touches.

RW Events | Table of the Month | Marsala + Champagne

For our second table design, we coupled marsala and champagne together. These hues complimented each other quite nicely, and we even incorporated a dash of blush. To start, we used our Gregory farm table, which is one of our favorite pieces. Down the middle of the table, you’ll see a Champagne Micro Matte Sequin runner from Over the Top. Also in the middle, you can see the floral that Lesley stretched out from our first design, to make more of a garland look. Our favorite part of the floral design has to be the Red Amaranthus – it’s the droopy pieces of floral that you see throughout the arrangement! At each place setting, there is a Copper charger from Orlando Wedding & Party Rentals, along with a Blush Lamour napkin from GBS Linens. We think the French Country Chairs complimented the design and farm table beautifully.

RW Events | Table of the Month | Marsala + Greenery

Last but not certainly not least, our third design showcases marsala paired with touches of greenery. We started off with our greenery walls, Fern, to make a statement in the background. In front of the walls, we placed one of our sweetheart tables, Monroe. Lesley converted the garland onto the sweetheart table, and made it drip off the front of the table a bit. We recently discovered this Ivory Organza runner from GBS Linens, and we think it’s stunning across farm tables. At each place setting, we used the Gold Rimmed glass charger again, along with some of our mismatched china, and Bordeaux Lamour napkins from GBS Linens. We think the Silver Industrial chairs add a different element to the design, and we can’t get enough of them! To complete the look, Lesley brought in the clear glass candle votives, and added a bit of floral and greenery to the chairs.

We hope you enjoyed our September tables! If you happened to miss last month’s design, take a peek here!

Tidbits + Tips | Wedding Superstitions {Rain}

No one likes their events getting rained out, but did you know that many cultures view rain as good luck? It’s viewed as a symbol of fertility and cleansing, and it can also have some other benefits. I know what you’re thinking – how in the world could rain be a good thing at my wedding? If you need some encouragement that it won’t put a damper on your day, here are a few perks to consider with wedding day rain showers.

  • Cooler weather – rain tends to drop the temperature, even if it’s just by a few degrees. This can help keep flowers looking fresh and you + the bridal party nice and cool.
  • Seasonal allergies – if you suffer from seasonal allergies, a rain shower can help you say “adios” to that stuffy nose since it reduces the amount of pollen in the air.
  • Photos – some of the cutest wedding photos we’ve seen have involved umbrellas {just like this one of Katie and her maids}. You may even catch a glimpse of a rainbow, making for a picture perfect photo opp!

RW Chronicles | One & Only Bridal Boutique

Our team prides itself on being in the know about up and coming vendors, including bridal salons – earlier this week the RW gals attended the One & Only Bridal Boutique grand opening in Downtown Orlando, and boy was it fun! We loved swooning over all the flowy, sparkly gowns and networking with current and new vendor pals!

One & Only Bridal BoutiqueSome of our favorites from their collection came from designers Alvina Valenta, Stella York, and Sophia Tolli.

P.S. They’re hosting a trunk show from now through October 2nd for Stella York designs – be sure to schedule your appointment to see these gowns before they officially hit stores!

Real Wedding | Sayhe + Frankie

It may have rained a bit on their parade, but our couple wasn’t going to let inclement weather damper their day. Their love for one another, bubbly personalities, and sparkly details were more than enough to make this a picture perfect wedding at Cypress Grove Estate House.

Talk about a show-stopping ensemble! Sayhe’s was all about the glamour, and chose a stunning trumpet style gown paired with some killer heels for her bridal attire.

This eco-friendly jewelry company was founded in Brooklyn, NY a little over ten years ago, and I’m swooning over their collection! Each piece is handmade in the USA, and they’ve got something for every style – whether you’re looking for something simple + elegant to trendy + modern. Oh, and be sure to check out their engagement ring collection – it’s full of unique designs featuring some stunning gemstones!

A darling combination of sparkle and understated elegance, this necklace features a petite diamond + pearl.

Fun fact: did you know that pearls actually gain luster the more you wear them?

Definitely a splurge item, but this is my most favorite piece from their collection.

Dainty enough to not take away from that gorgeous gown, but it still packs a lot of sparkle!

Real Event | Premium Lounge

Boy, do we love a good bridal show! Our team gets to pull out all the stops and partner with amazing vendors while showcasing our fav rentals. This year we sponsored the Premium Lounge {a unique VIP experience for brides}, which featured our newest boho-chic inspired social lounge, along with Seattle + Aspen {two of our signature collections}.

Tidbits + Tips | Room Blocks

Room blocks can be a wonderful way to help your out-of-town guests find accommodations for your wedding {and usually at a reduced cost}. They’re fairly simply to setup and there are just a few things to keep in mind when reserving these blocks:

  • Proximity – start with your event venue if they offer overnight accommodations. If not, look for hotels that are within a short walk or taxi ride of the venue. If it’s close enough, you may even be able to setup shuttle service through the hotel concierge.
  • Price – make sure to keep hotel prices in mind, especially for guests that are traveling from out of town to attend your wedding. Consider reserving rooms at two hotels, with one being a bit more cost effective.

Once you’ve found the perfect room block option, you’ll likely need to sign a contract with the hotel – be sure you read through the contract carefully and make note of clauses describing attrition and/or re-sell. “Attrition” refers to the penalty you’ll pay if a certain portion of the rooms in your block aren’t booked. Some hotels also include a “re-sell” clause, meaning that if they’re able to re-sell unused rooms in your block to other customers, you’re no longer responsible for them.

Pro tip: be sure to include room block information on your wedding website! Consider including a direct link to the booking page, directions to the venue, and any other pertinent info they may need.
