Table of the Month | The Neutrals

Table AugustWelcome to our very first ‘Table of the Month’ series! Our goal with this series, is to show how one focal centerpiece can be used on different tables and styles. This month, we’ve chosen to play with neutrals; think – ivory, champagne and taupe. We felt florally inspired to showcase a tall trumpet vase, topped with a mix of ivory/white flowers and an array of greenery. The always lovely, Lesley, of Flowers by Lesley, fulfilled our neutral dreams! Go grab your favorite cozy beverage, and keep scrolling to see what we’ve created.

For our first table, we designed a romantic table with a touch of metallic sheen. To cover the round banquet table, we used the Taupe Shalimar linen from Over the Top, along with Ivory Lamour napkins. At each place setting, we chose to feature Gold Rim glass chargers along with the Brushed Gold flatware set from A Chair Affair. The white dinner and bread + butter plates belong to the Luxmore Grande Estate… SWOON! In the center of this metallic table, you’ll see the gorgeous, tall floral centerpiece. Ms. Lesley also incorporated three smaller floral pieces in mercury glass vases, along with ornate gold candle pillars. Upon looking at the different tables, you can see that we chose to use mahogany chiavari chairs throughout; We love how versatile these chairs are amongst different styles.

It’s no secret that this is our favorite design, *squeal*. This look just oozes elegance! Alright, enough gushing; let’s get down to business. We covered this captain’s table with Bentley Ivory linen from Over the Top. If you love the long table look, we highly recommend going with a captain’s table (8’48”) instead of a standard banquet table (8’x30”). Doing so makes the width of your table 18 inches wider – allowing space for chargers, flatware and beautiful centerpieces! At each place setting we displayed Silver Belmont chargers and Capri Stainless Steel flatware from A Chair Affair. Again, we featured china from the Luxmore Grande Estate, along with the Ivory Lamour napkins. Onto the good stuff – the floral! The tall centerpiece and smaller floral pieces were placed along the center of the table. Lesley also brought in small silver candle votives to dress up the look. Last but not least, the gorgeous chair drapes! Lesley had these in her arsenal, and we just LOVE how they instantly elevated the table. These would be beautiful for a head table, or even just the newlyweds themselves.

For our final table, we chose to showcase our Wesley farm table. At each place setting, you’ll notice the Taupe glass chargers, a personal favorite of ours. We brought the Brushed Gold flatware back, to give the table a slight mixed metals look, along with the Ivory Lamour napkins. Again, in the center of the table, is that stunning floral arrangement. For this look, Lesley put the smaller floral blooms atop mercury glass pillars, and incorporated the small silver candle votives. We draped the chair sashes a bit differently, to give it a simpler and chic feel. Add a cluster of blooms and greenery to the sashes, and voila! All of our rustic elegant dreams come true!
