Orange Rosemary Spritz

This fizzy and colorful cocktail is perfect for upcoming spring + summer weddings as a signature drink!

Orange Rosemary Sprits

Serves 1

• 1 oz Aranciata Pellegrino
• 1 oz Lillet
• 1 tablespoon Aperol
• 1 oz Prosecco
• 2 sprigs rosemary
• 1 tablespoon organic cane sugar
• 1 slice orange

1. Strip leaves from one rosemary sprig. Chop leaves very finely and toss well with sugar in a small flat dish.
2. Rub a bit of orange on the rim of a small cocktail glass and dip in the rosemary sugar mixture until the rim is dotted with sugar and rosemary. Add Pellegrino, Lillet, Aperol and ice to the glass. Top with Prosecco.
3. Garnish with remaining sprig of rosemary and, if you’d like, a slice of orange.

Finding the Perfect DJ

A lot of brides ask us how to find the perfect DJ, so we’ve come up with three basic tips to help you in your search:

  • Get recommendations – think back to weddings you’ve been to. Did anyone’s DJ stand out to you? If so, get their info and give them a call =) You can also check with your venue {or your wedding planner} for their recommendations. They’re likely to refer DJ’s that they’ve worked with before, and ones that do a great job {you can also look them up on sites like Wedding Wire for reviews}!
  • Set up a meeting – once you’ve narrowed the list down to 3 or 4 DJ’s, it’s always a good idea to set up a meeting. This will give you a better idea of their personality and whether or not they’ll be a good match for you.
  • Book them – as soon as you’ve picked your DJ, book them! DJ’s book up quickly so have them send over a contract asap so you can read through it and sign on the dotted line!

Bouquet Styles

There are so many beautiful bouquet styles out there, and it can be difficult to determine which one is best for your wedding. Here are three of my favorite options that would be perfect for any style wedding!

Nosegay – a cluster of flowers wrapped tightly and cut to one uniform length.

Handtied – a dense bunch of flowers, tied together loosely.

Cascade – a “waterfall” of blooms either anchored in a holder or hand tied.

Date Night

Well, it’s Friday and I’m sure lots of couple are searching for fun things to do for date night =) Here are a few of my top choices {some require a bit of planning, but others can be more spontaneous}:

  • Go exploring – head to downtown {or wherever your shops and restaurants are} and eat at a restaurant you’ve never tried before.
  • Host a game night – invite your families over for a fun dinner + game night. It’s a great opportunity for both sides to get to know each other!
  • Cook together – try creating some new recipes together, or sign up for a couples cooking class.
  • Head to the beach – the beach is the perfect place for a romantic bonfire =)

Santa Rosa Beach | Team Vacation

The RW Events gals are very much a family… I mean, why else would we go on vacation together?! :)

In January, we packed up the truck and took a 6 hour road trip. We took take a break from work, did a little antique shopping, cooked some amazing meals, and explored this cute little beach town. {The weather was perfect!}

Santa Rosa Beach meet RW Events’ Gals

Random awesomeness: we walked into a cute little clothing boutique and fell in love with the Mason jar chandelier.

Nothing like finding some vintage rentals for our amazing clients. This warehouse was full of mismatched china, chairs, chandeliers, and chippy buffets. {LOVELINESS}
